Bartın University Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design adopts the principle of training students who are contemporary, participatory, research-oriented, critical thinkers, respectful of ethical values, capable of interdisciplinary work, and competitive at the national and international level in the fields of engineering, science, technology, planning, and design.

Our Goals:
To enable students and society to achieve productive careers in undergraduate, graduate, and lifelong learning fields and to ensure their success in their lifelong professional endeavors;
To lead in the fields of basic sciences, engineering, infrastructure, energy, environmental sciences, information processing, communication technologies, planning, design, and management by encouraging interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research and application studies in application-oriented research and development studies;
In the field of community service, to open educational resources to the community and to serve the local and regional population, as well as nationally and globally, through technological innovations created for the benefit of the community; to conduct joint education and applied research studies to support the local and regional economic structure, and to respond to the workforce, technology, planning, and design needs of local governments and other public institutions and organizations; to structure its academic organization and education and training planning within the scope of our University's area of ​​specialization, "Smart logistics and integrated regional applications," and to contribute to regional development through research and development studies by strengthening its infrastructure;
Our University aims to provide a broad perspective and skills in the algorithms, technologies, and methods necessary for designing and developing smart systems for its area of ​​specialization, and to train qualified workforce in areas that play an important role in the development of our country, such as big data analysis, autonomous robots, and the Internet of Things.
