Unit Quality and Accreditation Commission
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties of the Unit Quality and Accreditation Commission are as follows:
- To prepare the unit's strategic plan and submit it to the unit's board of directors for approval,
- To ensure the evaluation of academic and administrative services, the improvement of quality, and the execution of all kinds of work to be done in the accreditation process in line with the unit's strategic plan and objectives,
- To prepare the Unit Internal Evaluation Report and submit it to the unit's board of directors for approval every January,
- To monitor the unit's strategic plan and submit the Strategic Plan Evaluation Report, which they will prepare by evaluating it at the end of the year, to the unit's board of directors for approval,
- To prepare the Unit Activity Report and submit it to the unit's board of directors for approval,
- To evaluate the results of the unit's surveys and ensure that these results are discussed in the unit's board of directors and/or the unit's academic board,
- To support the visits of the Institution's Internal Evaluation Team to the unit, to review the report generated after the visit and evaluate it specifically for the unit,
- For the unit To prepare an annual improvement plan for the improvement needs identified as a result of the evaluations mentioned in this article, to ensure the implementation of this plan, and to reflect the evaluation results in the Unit Internal Evaluation Report by evaluating whether the improvements have been realized at the end of the year;
- To make the necessary preparations for the certification and post-evaluation studies to be carried out by evaluation organizations regarding the quality processes in the unit; to provide all kinds of support to these organizations;
- To announce the decisions of the Quality Commission to the relevant departments, programs, and sub-units of the unit; to contribute to their implementation and monitor their results;
- To provide support for the establishment of program quality commissions as a sub-unit in the program accreditation processes;
- To carry out other necessary studies in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the Bartın University Quality Assurance System Directive and the Quality Commission.
